Our data protection practice is in accordance with the Swiss Data Protection Act and the relevant Swiss legal standards. The following data protection provisions apply when using the offers of Licenscom GmbH (“Licenscom”):

  1. Licenscom respects the privacy of the users and its Internet presence and has made their protection a top priority in all activities on the Internet. This means: We undertake to treat the information provided by the partner and customer (“Customer”) with the greatest care and sense of responsibility at all times. This also and especially applies to the cooperation with partners and third parties. However, Licenscom assumes no liability for third parties, unless this is stated separately.
  2. Licenscom collects, stores and processes personal data exclusively in accordance with the applicable legal provisions and to the extent that this is necessary and required for the fulfillment of the contractual relationship between Licenscom and the customer or for the provision of the requested offers. Personal data are all details that the user provides on the xo-recovery website and that allow a conclusion to his identity (name, address, e-mail, landline and mobile phone number). Personal data is transmitted over the Internet in encrypted form using SSL. We secure our website and other systems by technical and organizational measures against loss, destruction, access, modification or distribution of personal data by unauthorized persons. However, despite regular checks, full protection against all dangers is not possible.
  3. On the xo-recovery.com website, data is collected and stored for optimization purposes. From this data, user profiles are created under a pseudonym. Cookies may be used for this purpose. The data collected in this way will not be used to personally identify the user of this website without the separately granted consent of the person concerned and will not be merged with personal data about the bearer of the pseudonym. The customer can prevent the installation of cookies as described in paragraph 4. However, we would like to point out that in this case the customer may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.
  4. In addition, we use so-called “cookies” (small data packets with configuration information, which transmit, for example, information about the screen resolution used or the IP address) to improve our product offering. However, the storage of cookies can be deactivated in the browser settings. (Further information can be found under the menu item ‘Tools – Internet Options’ in the toolbar of the respective browser). In order to order from us, the customer must allow cookies.
  5. The customer agrees to the disclosure of his data to third parties to the extent that this is necessary and required for the fulfillment of the contractual relationship between Licenscom and the customer or for the provision and improvement of the requested offers. Any further use, in particular a transfer or resale of the data to third parties by Licenscom, is excluded, unless it takes place within the aforementioned framework or the customer has expressly consented to the transfer of his data.
  6. Licenscom will  inform the Customer about the respective sales promotions. The Customer has the right to object to the sending of notifications of sales promotions at any time. A reference to this right of objection is added at the end of each communication about a sales promotion.
  7. If we make advance payments, we may obtain a credit report based on the customer’s previous payment history from PostFinance, the relevant credit card companies or a specialized agency in order to protect our legitimate interests. Your interests worthy of protection are taken into account in accordance with the statutory provisions.
  8. Every customer has a right to free information about the data stored about him and, if necessary, a right to correction, blocking or deletion of this data. In this case, as well as for questions, suggestions or requests, the customer can contact us. However, this may result in Licenscom no longer being able to fulfill its contractual duties. Any liability of Licenscom or the assertion of claims for damages is excluded in this case.
  9. Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc, 1600 Amphi-theatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. To deactivate Google Analytiscs, Google provides a browser plug-in at http://tools.google.com/dlpage.. Google Analytics uses cookies. These are small text files that make it possible to store specific user-related information on the user’s end device. These enable an analysis of the use of our website by Google. The information collected by the cookie about the use of our site (including your IP address) is usually transmitted to a Google server in the U.S. and stored there. We would like to point out that the code “gat.anonymizeIp();” has been added to Google Analytics on this website to ensure anonymized collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking). If anonymization is active, Google truncates IP addresses within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area, which is why no conclusions can be drawn about your identity. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google complies with the data protection provisions of the “Privacy Shield” agreement and is registered with the “Privacy Shield” program of the U.S. Department of Commerce and uses the information collected to evaluate the use of our websites, to compile reports for us in this regard and to provide us with other related services.
